ALN in Wales - what’s happening
Mrs Michelle O'Connor is the school ALNCo, she is supported by Mrs Vicki Lumsden
and works closely with all the Teaching Assistants in our school. If you have
concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school to discuss any matter relating
to your child. Ysgol Maes Owen works with a variety of agencies to support pupils
with additional learning needs. The school offers a variety of support and
interventions to ensure children can access the curriculum and are supported
appropriately. Wales has a new ALN Code which began replacing the old system in
September 2020. The link below will give you information about the new Welsh
reforms.
